Ashton Kutcher is Steve Jobs
The Apple co-founder has died a bit more a year, but such is the interest in the life of Steve Jobs, it is not one, but two Hollywood biopics in development. Adaptation of Aaron Sorkin's biography by Walter Isaacson (who apparently is set behind the scenes of three of the largest Jobs - Mac product launches, then and the iPod), is due to start next year, while the work, take more generally structured Joshua Michael Stern on the events of shooting, is already in post-production and booked to close Sundance Film Festival the next year.
Jobs attracted a lot of interest, in part for its choice of leading man. Ashton Kutcher's film career has not exactly ignited Hollywood, and it is fair to say to the press that he should play the jobs do not exactly down well with the Apple faithful. However, the actor seems to take seriously the role and certainly looks the part photo promo released today.
The Sundance festival presentation text describes the film as: "the true story of one of the greatest entrepreneurs in American history, jobs says the definition of 30 years of the life of Steve Jobs." jOBS is a sincere, inspiring and staff who saw things differently. "According to Trevor Groth, Director of programming for Sundance, the film chose to close the event because" there's something about it a source of inspiration. If you are not yet satisfied Kutcher in the role, John Cooper, Director of the Festival believes that Portrait of the actor two and a Half Men may just change your mind. Speaking at the Hollywood Reporter, he said: "performance for Ashton Kutcher, I thought was quite remarkable." It's a very formidable show, and it seemed he really tried to capture the nuances of what Steve Jobs has been."
Of course the work is not the first film to chronicle the incredible life of co founder Apple. Pirates of Silicon Valley 1999, which tells the story of the childhood of Apple and Microsoft, with Noah Wyle as Steve Jobs and really worth it to look for if you have not already seen.
